ALIZA KAYANI, Esq. is a Senior Associate with Callinan & Smith LLP and has multiple years of experience as a litigator. She conducts Examinations Under Oath related to fraud investigations and handles No-Fault litigation.

 

Prior to joining Callinan & Smith LLP, Ms. Kayani was an Associate at a mid-sized litigation firm located on Long Island, where she gained substantial experience in handling No-Fault litigation matters in the Supreme, Civil and District Courts throughout the New York metropolitan area.

 

Ms. Kayani was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2016 after receiving a Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 2015.  During her time in Law School, she held several internships which provided experience in civil litigation, such as interning with the New York City Law Department where she responded to petitions, handled Article 78 proceedings and Section 8 Housing. She also worked at an Elder Law Clinic during law school where she provided legal services in assisting low-income elderly population.

 

Ms. Kayani also has experience in criminal, family and civil matters where she worked on divorce petitions, child custody and visitation, immigration, real estate and criminal proceedings.
