GLEB IVANOV is a dedicated Litigation Attorney with a diverse legal background spanning insurance defense, complex civil litigation, and veteran advocacy. Currently serving as an Associate at Callinan & Smith, LLP, he focuses on No-Fault Litigation Defense and Major Case Investigations.
A rigorous approach to research and advocacy defines Gleb’s legal career. Before his current role, he spent eight years at Akerman, LLP, progressing from Intern to Paralegal and Summer Associate. During this time, he collaborated on complex cases involving foreclosures, partnership disputes, and matrimonial appeals. He is recognized for his ability to streamline legal workflows, having implemented advanced filing systems.
His commitment to service is further evidenced by his work with the Veteran Assistance Clinic, where he investigated facts and drafted memoranda for VA determination appeals, including discharge upgrades and benefits disputes.
Gleb is a multilingual professional (Russian-speaking) with technical proficiency across various legal platforms and software suites. His skill set includes Appellate and Motion Briefing, Depositions and Discovery, Legal Research and Fact Investigation, and Mentoring and Team Leadership, and he is recognized by various publications.
Before entering the legal field, Gleb served with distinction in the US Navy as a Master at Arms (2001–2007). In this role, he worked alongside the JAG corps to prepare evidence for non-judicial punishment hearings and led force protection programs, training personnel in advanced weapon handling and crime prevention.
Gleb earned his Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from Berkeley College, Magna Cum Laude (Class of 2017), and is recognized by a National Honor Society in Paralegal and Legal Studies.
Gleb earned his Juris Doctor degree at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University (Class of 2021), where he served as a Peer Mentor and held a position of Vice President of the Older Wiser Law Students Association and Veteran’s Law Student Association.​​
