JOHN R. RIMI is an associate attorney at Callinan & Smith. He is a graduate of Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he developed a strong foundation in litigation and criminal law.

While in law school, John served as President of the Criminal Law Society and completed coursework in Pretrial Methods, Trial Methods, and Advanced Trial Methods. He gained substantial hands-on courtroom experience as a Certified Legal Intern with the York County Public Defender’s Office, where he appeared in court daily, litigated criminal matters, drafted motions and legal memoranda, and conducted extensive legal research.

In recognition of his dedication to public service and exceptional pro bono contributions, John was awarded Widener Law’s Public Interest Initiative Award. His experience at the Public Defender’s Office refined his advocacy, research, and case-management skills and provided a strong foundation for his transition into private practice.
