Edwin Vazquez Fernandez

EDWIN VAZQUEZ FERNANDEZ is an Associate at Callinan & Smith LLP, where his practice focuses on New York No-Fault insurance litigation. He represents insurance carriers in both Supreme Court and Civil Court matters and regularly drafts and argues motions for summary judgment and default judgment. Mr. Fernandez also appears in court on behalf of insurers at all stages of litigation to protect their interests.

Mr. Fernandez earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2024. During law school, he developed substantial legal research and advocacy experience, including serving as a Legal Research Assistant analyzing emerging legal issues in Artificial Intelligence and as a Law Student Advocate with the New York Legal Assistance Group, where he represented clients in administrative proceedings and fair hearings regarding Public Assistance Benefits.

Mr. Fernandez passed the July 2024 Uniform Bar Examination and was admitted to practice in the State of New York in September 2025. He is fluent in Spanish and brings strong analytical and writing skills to his no-fault practice.
